Our 6th Annual “Send Them Back with a Full Backpack” campaign is gaining momentum under the leadership of FSFM Lead Ambassador Kaylee Harris. We are deeply grateful to the Miami Elks Lodge No. 948 and the Templeton Family Foundation for their continued sponsorship and commitment to helping children begin the school year prepared for success.
Thanks to their generosity, we are making great progress toward our goal, but we still need your help to provide 250 fully stocked backpacks for students in our Music FUNdamentals partner schools.
For just $50, you can equip one child with a backpack filled with essential school supplies—giving them the confidence, preparation, and excitement to begin the new school year ready to learn.
Want to do even more? Join Kaylee and the FSFM Making Friends Ambassadors as we pack backpacks on Thursday, July 16! This fun, hands-on volunteer opportunity is a wonderful way for families, students, and community members to make a direct impact while sharing in the joy of serving others. Community service hours are available for students who participate. Please email info@friendsofsfm.org to let us know you’re coming so we can plan for supplies and volunteers. We’d love to have you join us as we help children start the new school year prepared for success!
Will you help us reach our goal? Click the link below to sponsor a backpack today, or sign up to join our backpack packing party. Together, we can ensure every child begins the school year with a full backpack, renewed confidence, and the tools they need to succeed.
