On Tuesday, December 6th, over 100 students of Ethel F. Beckford/ Richmond PLC and their teachers filled the air with holiday cheer at our first Music FUNdamentals Holiday Concert of the season.
Mrs. Alaina Lorenzo, one of our music specialists, has been delivering weekly age appropriate early childhood music education to the Head Start and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten classes at this site. The students were able to demonstrate their mastery of skills to their parents and family members in the audience at the performance. They were also able to sing their favorite holiday tunes with a live band, the Friends of South Florida Music’s Jazz and Jeans Band.
Thank you to the students and faculty at Ethel F. Beckford/Richmond PLC for joining us in this weekly musical journey. Thank you also to all of our supporters. Your donations are making a positive impact on the lives of young children in underserved communities of South Florida.
